Moon in Venus

What future do you desire?

From 8th March till 31st March.

Location: 307 Stanley Rd, Bootle L20 3LQ, Floor 0 in the Strand Shopping Centre

With energy prices and the cost of living increasing, household spending is becoming a worry for many families in our area, with unmanageable debt becoming a burden that many carry.

“Moon in Venus” is a pop-up shop like no other. Over March, Venus Charity’s team of experts are inviting local women from Bootle to receive free energy-saving advice, money management, and debt support. The shop is a warm and welcoming space for all women to get help with getting on top of their finances, managing their debt, and start looking towards the future.

We are also running free ‘out of opening hours’ creative healing events for local women to make new friends, tell their stories and support each other on their journeys towards living a healthy and happy life, despite their financial situation. This will include yoga and creative workshops – see dates and times below.

All women from Bootle welcome.

Programme

The ‘Moon in Venus’ programme is built around three ideas for living well with debt, developed by artist Phoebe Bachman. Access: to help understand laws, organise against unfair debt, and find financial support; Embodied Healing: caring for our own and each other’s mental and physical health and spirituality, and Learning: to better understand the social systems behind our debt.

If you have ever experienced debt, you are invited to take part in our series of ‘out of opening hours’ healing and learning events, to improve your mental health, make new friends and tell your stories in a safe and creative space.
